Offline Storage
Your private keys are generated and stored offline in your Trezor device. They never touch the internet, making them immune to online hacking attempts, phishing attacks, and malware.
PIN Protection
Set a PIN to protect your device from unauthorized access. Even if someone physically obtains your Trezor, they cannot access your funds without the PIN. Multiple failed attempts will trigger increasing delays.
Recovery Seed Backup
During setup, you'll receive a recovery seed (12-24 words). Write it down and store it securely. If your device is lost, stolen, or damaged, you can recover your entire wallet using this seed on a new Trezor device.
Firmware Verification
Every firmware update is cryptographically signed by Trezor. Your device automatically verifies the authenticity of updates before installation, protecting you from tampered or malicious firmware.
